Terms of Service
Before signing up for a Purple Rewards account, please read the following Terms of Service.

Purple maintains the right to amend these terms and conditions, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice.
The services are provided “as is” and without any warranties, claims, or representations made by Purple of any kind, either expressed, implied or statutory with respect to the services, including, without limitation, warranties of quality, performance, non-infringement, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose, nor are there any warranties created by course of dealing, course of performance, or trade usage. Without limiting the foregoing and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Purple does not warrant that the services, this site or the functions contained therein will be available, accessible, uninterrupted, timely, secure, accurate, complete, or error-free, that defects, if any, will be corrected, or that this site and/or the server that makes the same available are free of viruses, clocks, timers, counters, worms, software locks, drop dead devices, trojan-horses, routings, trap doors, time-bombs or any other harmful codes, instructions, programs or components.
You acknowledge that the entire risk arising out of the use or performance of the site and/or the service remains with you to the maximum extent permissible by applicable law.
Purple has no control over, and to the maximum extent permissible by applicable law, does not guarantee or accept any responsibility for (a): the fitness for purpose, existence, quality, safety, or legality of items available via the services; and (b): the ability of merchants to sell items or of buyers to pay for items. If there is a dispute involving one or more users, such users agree to resolve such dispute between themselves directly, and, to the maximum extent permissible by applicable law, release Purple and its affiliates from any and all claims, demands, and damages arising out of or in connection with any such dispute.
General Terms of Service
Purple Rewards (“Purple”) offers, amongst other things, Purple Points and Purple Cash to Purple account holders for purchases made at Purple’s merchant partners through Purple’s various platforms, including but not limited to its website, browser extension, and mobile application (“Purple Platforms”). The use of the services (“Services”) offered on the Purple Platforms and accounts maintained with Purple shall be subject to these terms and conditions (“Agreement”). This Agreement constitutes a legally binding agreement between each individual who uses the Services and/or maintains an account with Purple.
By using any of the Services and/or maintaining an account with Purple, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Agreement and agree to be bound by all of its terms. Purple may modify this Agreement from time to time, with or without notice, and your continued use of any of the Services or continued maintenance of an account with Purple shall constitute and be deemed as your acceptance of such a modification and your consent to abide by any terms thereof.
Subject to this Agreement, Purple hereby grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license (without the right to sublicense) to access and use the Purple Platforms and Services solely for your personal use. You agree that you obtain no rights other than the rights and licenses expressly granted under this Agreement. Purple reserves the right to change, upgrade, or discontinue any or all of the Services or the Purple Platforms or any feature of the Services or the Purple Platforms at any time, with or without notice. All rights not expressly granted under this Agreement are reserved by Purple and its licensors.
Some of the Services require the user to maintain an account with Purple. A user may create an account free-of-charge by providing the relevant details that has been requested for. Use of the account and the Services (including the opportunity to earn cashback) are offered at the sole discretion of Purple and be subject to your compliance of this Agreement.
An individual shall not create, have control, and/or have custody over multiple Purple accounts.
Each mobile number may only be linked to one Purple account;
Each payment account (for e.g., each bank account; each Stripe/PayPal account) may only be linked to one Purple account.
A failure to abide by any terms and conditions, the perpetration of any fraud or abuse, whether relating to the accrual or receipt of cashback and/or other rewards or otherwise, and/or any misrepresentation of any information furnished to Purple or its affiliates may result in your Purple account being flagged for suspicious activity and suspended or terminated; any cashback accumulated being forfeited; and/or any store credit or vouchers purchased by you being cancelled.
You are responsible for regularly checking your account to ensure any points and cashback has been properly credited and that your account balance is up to date. You must notify Purple of any omissions, incorrect entries or discrepancies concerning any transaction within 30 days after that transaction. Purple reserves the right not to correct any omissions, incorrect entries or discrepancies brought to its attention after the 30-day period.
Merchants are able to sell discount vouchers and/or promotions through the Purple Platform. Purple users will be able to access participating merchants to redeem Vouchers through Purple. Each voucher is subjected to the Merchant’s own Terms and Conditions including but not limited to validity, minimum spending, exclusive discount, and limited purchases. The Purple Platform merely facilitates Purple users to make purchases from participating merchants. The voucher promotions may vary depending on the Merchants’ decision.
Amongst services offered by Purple is the opportunity to earn points from purchases made at our various merchant partners through our various Purple Platforms. Creating and maintaining an account with Purple is required before a user can start earning points. Crediting of points earned is subject to the various terms, conditions, and requirements, express or implied, associated with the crediting of cashback in general, or terms, conditions, and requirements associated with the individual promotions that would be applicable. These terms, conditions, and requirements include, but are not limited to:-
Requiring the user to have cookies enabled throughout the duration of accessing the Purple Platforms and subsequently the merchant partner’s website;
Not opening a separate tab or browser while accessing the Purple Platforms and subsequently the merchant partner’s website;
Ensuring that after being redirected to the merchant partner’s website or in-store outlet, the user completes the transaction before proceeding to any other website;
Completing the purchase on the merchant’s website or in-store outlet within a given period of time;
Not engaging in any fraudulent or dishonest conduct and/or abiding by the terms of this Agreement or any other terms and conditions stipulated by Purple or the applicable merchant partner;
In addition, certain purchases may be excluded from earning points. In general, points earned is calculated from the number of points spent, excluding shipping and handling. However, points earned, and exclusions vary from merchant partner to merchant partner, and individual promotions may contain specific exclusions. Please review these terms carefully. These exclusions are subject to change without notice, and Purple hereby disclaims any and all liability in connection with any incorrect information or failure to include information on the list of exclusions. Some examples of typical exclusions include, but are not limited to:-
Earning points not being eligible when purchasing promotional items not recorded in Purple;
Earning points are only eligible when the transaction is completed using specified payment methods; and
Different tiers of eligible points earned for different users (for e.g., different tiers of cashback for new users and existing users).
Merchant Partner Policies
Any products or services from any merchant partner, whether through Purple or otherwise, is governed by and subject to the applicable merchant partner’s policies and terms and conditions, including but not limited to, the applicable return, cancelation, exchange, and shipping policies. You agree that we are not agents of any merchant partner and that the merchant partner operates independently and are not under our control. Accordingly, your participation in offers or promotions, or correspondence with, any merchant partner is solely between you and that merchant partner. We do not assume any liability, obligation, or responsibility for any part of such correspondence, offer or promotion, including, without limitation, the withdrawal or modification of any such offer or promotion. Purple is not responsible for changes to, or discontinuance of any merchant partner from any of Purple’s Platforms or the termination of any promotion offered by any merchant partner on any of Purple’s platforms, or any effect on accrual of points earned caused by such changes, discontinuance, or withdrawal. Purple assumes no responsibility and shall not be liable for any content, product and/or services on the merchant’s platforms (including but not limited to the quality, merchantability or fitness of such products or services that such content, roduct and/or services does not breach any laws or regulations).
Top-ups and Deductions
Purple reserves the right to make top-ups and deductions from the balance in a user’s account where it is necessary, reasonable, or expedient to do so. This includes (but is not limited to) situations where Purple Points and Purple Cash has been incorrectly credited into a user’s account and/or where a user is found to have acted fraudulently, dishonestly, or in contravention of the terms of this Agreement.
Redemption of Purple Points and/or Purple Cash
There is no redemption of Purple Points or Purple Cash to your bank account with Purple. Both currencies will only reflect in the Purple system upon dissemination or purchase at a participating merchant.
Nature of Purple Points and Purple Cash
For the avoidance of doubt, you do not gain any proprietary right over any monies or assets held by Purple when you earn Purple Points and Purple Cash in your account. Purple Points and Purple Cash accrued in your account does not constitute monies held on trust by Purple for your benefit. Your rights and entitlements are solely limited to such personal or contractual rights of repayment as may arise out of this Agreement.
Termination of Account
The Purple Points and Purple Cash accumulated in your Purple account shall expire if your account remains inactive (i.e. no successful transactions made through Purple) for a period of more than a year. Purple reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account in accordance with Clause 13 below or where it is necessary or reasonable to do so in order to comply with or satisfy law, regulation, or court order.
Personal Data Protection
Bonuses and Rewards
Purple may periodically offer bonuses or rewards for performing certain actions (such as referring new users to Purple or referring a company’s Human Resource department for the employee benefits scheme). The terms and conditions accompanying such offers will govern how they are earned and paid. You are prohibited from bidding on keywords containing “Purple Rewards” or other similar word or marks for the purpose of driving traffic to your page. You shall not send any paid traffic directly to your referral link. You may not include your referral link or distribute your referral link on any website or platform that does not belong to you, such as social media pages belonging to merchants or forum pages belonging to third-parties.
You are responsible for any and all taxes that may apply to amounts earned from the Purple Points or Purple Cash you have redeemed. Purple makes no representation as to the tax treatment of such amounts.
Fraudulent or Dishonest Activity
Purple may suspend or terminate your account if it has reason to believe that you are involved in any fraudulent or dishonest activities. Any failure to comply with this Agreement, any fraud, dishonesty, or abuse relating to the use of the services or your account, or any misrepresentation of any information furnished to Purple or its affiliates by your or anyone acting on your behalf may result in the closure, suspension or termination of your account, cancellation of any purchases (for e.g., of store credits, vouchers, or otherwise) made; and/or forfeiture of your accrued rewards.
A person who is not a party of this Agreement has no rights to enforce any terms of this Agreement.
By becoming a Purple user, you agree to receive communications that are account and user related (for e.g., notifications regarding the adding of points earned to your account balance) as well as periodic shopping related emails that highlight coupons or special deals available to Purple users. We may communicate with you regarding your account by electronic communications or direct mail using information provided by you during the account registration process. Your consent to receive electronic communications include any notices or other information that we may require by law to provide you in writing or otherwise. You agree to keep us appraised of your current email address should the same change be subsequent to the date you became a Purple Member. We may also send you push notifications if you install the mobile application.
All rights, titles, and interest in the Services, the Purple Platforms, and the content associated with or on the same belong to Purple and its licensors. Additionally, Purple shall maintain all rights, titles, and interest in “Purple” and “Purple Rewards”, and any other marks, service marks, trademarks, or logos of Purple (collectively known as “Purple Marks”) that are registered in Singapore and other markets. The Purple Marks may not be used in connection with any non-Purple product or service in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits Purple. You shall not by any means bid on, apply for, register, own, or control any keywords or marks containing “Purple Rewards” or anything substantially similar to “Purple” or any other Purple Mark, including but not limited to purplerewards.co, purplerewards.com, or any similar links within any search engine, domain service provider or any intellectual property office whatsoever. You shall not mention or use Purple in any advertisement text, extension, or banner without express written consent of Purple. All other trademarks not owned by Purple that are used in providing the Services are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to, or sponsored by Purple.
By creating a Purple account, you are becoming a member of a community that depends on the goodwill and responsible behaviour of each of our users. Users are required to refrain from the transmission or communication of images or text constituting ethnic slurs, obscenities, sexually explicit material, inflammatory or derogatory comments, or anything else that may be construed as harassing or offensive, which is targeted at the Services, the Purple Platforms, our employees, contractors or agents, our merchant partners, or other users. This includes communications by means of social media or other internet posts which violate the above community standards of promote or encourage gaming or fraudulent behaviour. Users who violate this provision, as determined by us in our absolute discretion, may have the accounts suspended or terminated without prior notice.
Purple Rewards aim to offer the most trusted, hyper-local review platform to help you and the whole Purple Rewards community discover the best places to dine, shop, and visit wherever you are. We believe that the content contributed by Purple users should be used in an ethical and responsible way while ensuring personal information and privacy are protected. To protect our users and ensure that user-generated content brings a positive and beneficial experience for all, we’ve developed the following guidelines:
The Reviews will be publicly available.
When you post a review on the Purple platform, it will be publicly accessible, along with your profile name and uploaded photo(s), and other information you choose to include in your review (“Review”). If you are not comfortable with members of the public (which may include non-Purple users) viewing your Review, please do not post it.
The Reviews will impact others.
Your words have power so kindly be reminded of your social responsibility. To help make available a safe and pleasant experience for everyone, please ensure that you provide honest and truthful Reviews that do not contain any of the following content:
Fake, deceptive or misleading content
Sexually explicit or indecent content
Any personal data that can be associated directly or indirectly to other individuals
We reserve the right, but are not obliged, to take down, delete or hide Reviews or any part(s) thereof if they contain any content that we deem inappropriate in our sole discretion; or which violate any law(s) and/or regulation(s), including without limitation the type of content listed above; or which is otherwise not relevant (such as general political or social commentary). Any reliance on the Reviews shall be at your sole risk. Reviews are the opinion of the relevant individual reviewer only and accordingly, the accuracy, objectivity or content of such Reviews cannot be guaranteed. To the fullest extent permissible by law, we disclaim all liabilities and responsibilities arising from any reliance placed on such information and all terms, representations, conditions or warranties that might otherwise be implied in these Guidelines are hereby excluded. The Reviews may contain inaccuracies and typographical errors; and are not intended as advice to be relied upon. The Reviews are posted by yourself or other users, and while we make efforts to monitor and moderate the content, we cannot guarantee that they will be accurate or otherwise comply with these Review Guidelines.
You remain the owner of your Reviews, and may request to remove the Reviews.
We do not claim ownership of any content that you provide us with. Where you upload or provide us with any content that is covered by intellectual property rights, you (a) irrevocably grant Purple a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, unrestricted right and license to host, store, use, reproduce, modify, edit, adapt, translate, create derivative works of, publish, publicly perform or display, distribute, sublicense, or otherwise provide to others, your content (including without limitation name and/or likeness) in any and all media, formats, and channels (now in existence or hereinafter developed) for any purpose, including without limitation advertising and commercial purposes such as promoting and redistributing part or all of the Reviews in any format and through any channels like third party platforms; and (b) undertake that you have the right to grant us such licence and shall remain responsible for the Reviews you upload. For the avoidance of doubt, you also grant to Purple the right (though you acknowledge and agree that Purple shall not be so obliged) to use your name and/or likeness in connection with the submitted materials and other information as well as in connection with all advertising, marketing and promotional material related thereto. If you choose to give us feedback, such as suggestions to improve our services, we may act on your feedback without obligation to you.
Should you wish to request removal of a Review, you may contact the Purple team at email@example.com to submit such a request.
If you delete your account, the Reviews you submitted may be retained but will no longer be associated with your account.
These Review Guidelines are part of your Agreement with Purple.
In the event of any inconsistency between the English and other language versions of these Review Guidelines, the former shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

By submitting an email to us via firstname.lastname@example.org, you acknowledge that you are initiating a legal process in good faith and understand that any fraudulent and/or abusive notice may result in legal consequences.
You agree to indemnify Purple, any merchant partners, as well as their respective officers, directors, employees, successors, agents, and affiliates for any and all claims, damages, losses and causes of action (including attorneys’ fees and court costs) arising out of or relating to your breach of this Agreement or for any materials in any form whatsoever that are provided by you (or through your username and/or password). You agree to cooperate as fully as reasonably required in our defense and/or settlement of any claim. We reserve the right, in our reasonable discretion, to assume exclusive control over the defense and settlement of any matter subject to indemnification by you.
The Services, content, and the Purple Platforms are provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation, warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We make no warranty as to the quality, accuracy, currentness, completeness, reliability or validity of the Services, content or the Purple Platforms, including without limitation, any product search results, product descriptions, product availability, pricing information advice, opinion, statement, recommendations, or other information displayed, uploaded, or distributed in connection with the Services. Purple does not warrant that the functionality of the Purple Platforms will be interrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that they will be free of viruses or other harmful content. Furthermore, Purple does not warrant, guarantee, or make any representations regarding the quality of, or accuracy of advertisements for, any products or services offered or provided by its affiliate stores in conjunction with the Services. Purple disclaims all liabilities associated with the security of the payment method. You shall be responsible to resolve any disputes with your financial institution, credit/debit card issuer, or other providers of your selected payment method.
Use of Biometric, Phone, or Third-Party Logins
If the options are available, you may choose to allow access to your Purple account via third-party logins (for e.g., Facebook or Google) or through your phone (by using a device passcode or your biometric data). You understand the need to protect your mobile device, its passcode and any biometric data login functions, as well as the need to protect your passwords used at these third-party sites (such as your Facebook account).
The biometrics recognition feature is designed and owned by the respective mobile device. You acknowledge and understand that if you allow third parties’ biometrics to register as part of the biometrics of your mobile device, they will be able to access your account. You acknowledge and understand that if possession of the mobile device you registered with Purple has changed for any reason and the device login service has not been disabled, others will be able to access your account. You acknowledge and understand that if the password to your Facebook or Google accounts are compromised or provided to others, that others will be able to access your account. In such events of unauthorized access, Purple shall not be held responsible for any loss.
Please understand that the Purple service does not collect or store your biometric ID or Facebook or Google passwords, and relies on the third-party service or your mobile device to verify your identity. Purple does not guarantee that the service will be error-free and uninterrupted. If there is (through no fault of Purple), a transmission interruption or malfunction of this service, which causes inconvenience or inability to use the service, loss of data, errors, tampering by others, or other economic loss, Purple shall not be held liable for the same.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Purple be liable for any special, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or other indirect damages or for any loss profits, loss data or loss of use damages, even if it has been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Purple’s maximum aggregate liability arising out of this agreement will not exceed S$100.
Governing Law and Arbitration
This Agreement, including any amendments thereto that Purple may from time to time make at its discretion, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this contract, including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC”) in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre ("SIAC Rules") for the time being in force, which rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference in this clause. The seat of the arbitration shall be Singapore. The Tribunal shall consist of one arbitrator. The language of the arbitration shall be English. You agree that all issues are for the arbitrator to decide. This includes all issues related to the scope, application, interpretation and enforceability of this Agreement and this arbitration provision. The arbitrator shall also decide whether any claim is subject to arbitration.
You may not assign your rights and obligations under this Agreement, in whole or in part, without prior written consent, and any such assignment without such consent will be null and void.
Headings under this Agreement are intended only for convenience and shall not affect the interpretation of this Agreement.
Waivers and/or Severability
Any failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement on the part of Purple will not be deemed a waiver of that provision. Any waiver of any provision of this Agreement by Purple on one occasion will not be deemed a waiver of any other provision or of such provision on any other occasion. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions.
This Agreement (together with the additional terms and conditions referred hereto or generally) represents the entire agreement of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements and representations, written or oral (including without limitation, earlier version of this Agreement that may have been accepted by you). We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Your continued use of any of the Purple services or continued maintenance of an account with Purple shall constitute and be deemed to be your acceptance of such modification and your consent to abide by any terms thereof.
